The sun breaking through clouds over the sea off Jeju

The story of Udo Pool Villa

Scroll down

Why we build
pool villas on the Udo shore

Udo is an island reached by boat. Visitors come and go during the day, and it grows quiet after sunset. These villas are planned so guests can spend those quiet hours inside their own residence.

Each residence has its own pool and deck facing the sea, and stone walls and gardens screen the view from neighboring residences.

Finishes that echo
stone walls and sea color

We bring the rough texture of Jeju's stone walls and the blue of the Udo sea into the finishes of each residence. The basics are basalt-like flooring, light timber decks and white walls.

How to spend
a day on Udo

After check-in you can use the pool, bathtub and deck in your residence, then walk the stone-wall lanes around sunset. Udo has beaches and oreum (small volcanic cones) that can fill a whole day.

Tide pools on the exposed shore with a distant island

The rocks and sea of Udo are landscapes shaped by Jeju's volcanic origins. Basalt covers the shore, and when the tide goes out, pools of seawater collect between the rocks.

To protect this landscape, we build low and turn the windows toward the sea.

Seafood and Udo peanuts

On Udo it is easy to find seafood dishes and food made with peanuts. Meals served in your residence are planned around ingredients from Udo and nearby Jeju.
